Kick For Cancer

    Kick for Cancer is a Footbag tournament for youth in the york region community and surrounding areas, and is a proud supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society.  We are hosting our first event on August 23, 2009 at the Upper Canada Mall at Younge st. and Davis Dr. in Newmarket Ontario.

All news regarding the cancer society and kick for cancer will be located here for anyone who wants to know.

    I want to take a moment to explain why I chose the Canadian Cancer Society as the charity for this event.  There are many great charities out there and I support them all.  However there have been people in my life lost to cancer and I don't know anyone who hasn't had their life affected in some way by cancer.  This society does a lot for those people, helping families who are going through the pains of cancer, providing transportation to those who cannot get to there treatments and appointments and plenty more.  I suggest you visit their website to see what they do for people and do what you can to help in any way.  Their website is located on the favorite links page.
